About Avonside Energy
Simon enjoyed a successful career in both corporate and independent estate agency. He worked in the property sales and investment markets for 25 years, during which time he ran his own market leading firm and worked as a partner of a global brand agency.
He has experience of property management from both a landlord and tenant’s perspective, and as an accredited business coach, his approach is to ensure that when clients ask for advice, it makes business sense.
Katherine launched Avonside Energy in 2007, having previously co-founded with Simon a multi-discipline estate agency which won numerous Community awards.
Their aim is to go beyond simply advising on compliance with the European Directive. At a time when energy costs are rising fast, importance is attached to focusing on guidance which has meaningful value and directed at helping clients to save money. In making our recommendations, we will also explore how the market appeal of property assets may be improved.
"Our success to date is due to the forging of relationships with Solicitors, Agents and Business leaders in our Region who themselves are committed to delivering quality and accuracy. Our property market, customer focused background has created a clear understanding of the needs of all involved. You will find that we are a responsive, professional and reliable EPC provider"

“My experience working in the building industry and as an estate agent has given me a valuable insight as to property investors’ aims, objectives and priorities, and this is reflected in how we operate. This Legislation may be seen as an unwelcome burden by some business leaders tackling the financial rigours of a tough market, but the guidance we can provide can really make a difference when cost control is so vital for companies to survive.”
