Our Story
The management team of Avonside Energy acquired the business in late 2022, following the collapse of its parent group. We knew that it had a place in the market, delivering products and services that were beneficial to so many people and our clients told us they still wanted us around.
Having withstood the challenges that have been thrown at us over the years, we are still here and we are working hard to be the best that we can be for our customers.
Operating across the new build and commercial markets, we specialise in the delivery of Solar PV systems (creating energy) and insulation (saving energy). We do this because we firmly believe that our products help people and businesses save money whilst making an important contribution towards the challenge our climate is facing.
Our people have been with us through thick and thin and are proud of what they and we achieve and we hope that we get a chance to work with you to deliver your project.

Working with manufacturers such as Knauf and Superglass, or Viridian and GSE, we strive to work with the best in our fields.
Using products that have been rigorously tested by third party assessors and which have the strongest accreditations is key to what we do.
Knowing that we can turn to these partners for training, information and additional customer support enables us to confidently use these products on your sites.
It’s also important to us that we know exactly where the products come from, selecting sustainably and ethically sourced products will always be a key consideration.
Health & Safety
AI and computers can’t do what we do (not yet anyway!), so our people are our greatest asset. Ensuring everyone is free from harm is paramount. We work hard to embed a positive, harm-free culture in our business and employ health and safety professionals to ensure that we’re doing everything we possibly can.
We ensure that Risk Assessment and Method Statements are produced for all jobs and that these are updated as we progress.
We have been accredited with Health and Safety certification from CHAS, SMAS and CQMS. We think these are vital in providing third party assessments of what we do and how we do it.

Whether it's insulation or a Solar PV system, we source from manufacturers that we trust to deliver the product you and your customer require. Our buying team work to ensure that products are fully accredited and that they achieve the requirements and standards needed.
Making sure that everyone gets home safely every night is our number one priority and our in-house H&S team give us the back up we need. Delivering high quality installations is of the utmost importance to us. From our installers, to our depot managers, our contracts managers to our planning team, we all understand the importance of doing a quality job and delivering a dependable service.
We know how important it is that the homeowner is delighted with their new home, but we also recognise that sometimes things go wrong. We have a dedicated customer care team to ensure that problems are dealt with quickly, efficiently and competently.
